How can I start charging for access to my space?
Simple. First, upgrade your plan to the Premium Plan. Next, go to the Premium section in the Overview tab to establish the subscription rates for members. That's it!

What are offer codes and how do I use them?
Offer codes provide customized control over pricing for different markets, special offers, or varying levels of access. You may create as many types of offers as you like. When a potential subscriber supplies an offer code, they are selecting the role they will have in the space and their subscription rates and options. You can use a blank offer code as a default for members of the public to sign up without any pre-existing knowledge.

What if I want to require an offer code to access?
Simply remove or expire the blank offer code.

How do I get paid?
Payments are made monthly.

Near-Time will send you a check for the amount of revenue you have generated less any appropriate fees. The check will be mailed to your billing address.

What fees does Near-Time charge?
Near-Time Premium allows content owners to earn unprecedented margins on their content. Your payout percentage is determined by the volume as follows:

What if I want to give someone complimentary access?
Even with premium enabled, you can still invite people to join your space using the standard email-based capabilities in the Members tab. These members will not be charged to access your space.

How do I track usage by members?
There is a new Analytics page available in the Overview tab

What happens if someone's renewal payment can't be processed?
We will notify you by email and automatically re-submit the payment request 3 times. After that we will again notify you by email and suspend the subscription.

What happens when someone is unsubscribed from a space?
Their access to the space continues until their paid period ends and you receive an email notification.

What happens when someone resigns from a space?
They are unsubscribed and immediately removed from the space.

What happens when I remove someone from a space?
Their access to the space is immediately withdrawn. The user and you will receive an email notification. You are responsible for paying any refunds to your subscribers if appropriate.

What happens if I want to close the space?
Paid membership spaces cannot be closed unless there are no subscribers. You are responsible for paying any refunds to your subscribers if appropriate.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently we support major credit cards. We plan to provide support for PayPal in the very near future.
